PlayerFab causing Blue Screen of Death crashes in Windows 10 and 11

On my previous computer, an i7 Dell XPS 8700 with 2 TB hard drive and
16 GB RAM, I had a free giveaway version of DVDFab Player 6, but it
caused blue screen crashes in Windows 7 Home Edition, so I didn't
really use it, only testing it once a year to see whether the blue
screen issue had gone.

In 2022, I had Windows 10 and purchased PlayerFab 7 AIO Lifetime when
it was on sale, but it had blue screen issues, so I again didn't use it.

On my current computer, an i9 Dell XPS 8950 with 2 TB hard drive and
64 GB RAM running Windows 11 Pro, my purchased PlayerFab 7 crashes even
more often than it did on my previous PC running Windows 10.

Is there some way to prevent PlayerFab from crashing all the time? The
crashes occur most often when closing the program.

I have DVDFab AIO Lifetime, StreamFab AIO Lifetime, and DVDFab Passkey
for DVD Lifetime, and do not encounter blue screen crashes with any of
those programs. Why then do PlayerFab 6 and 7 cause BSOD crashes? My
current version is PlayerFab 7.0.4.3

DVD Player 6 gave me the Blue Screen of Death crashes in Windows 7 and
in Windows 10, While PlayerFab gave me the BSOD in Windows 10 and
Windows 11, so what makes you think that upgrading from version 7.0.4.3
to version 7.0.4.5 will make any difference?

The changelog at https://www.dvdfab.cn/media-player-new.htm says only:

Fix: A problem that the "Don't show this again" option is missing from the License Info window when starting up the player.

7.0.4.4 2023-12-14

New: Combined all the streaming media players as one Stream Player (all existing users will be automatically authorized with the new Stream Player).

Well, here I am a week later, on January 3rd, 2024, to report that I haven't had PlayerFab 7.4.0.5 crash yet!

Amazing. After three years, I can use PlayerFab consistently without incurring the Blue Screen of Death!

There is one particular reason that I love PlayerFab: it allows the user to choose from ten different Aspect
Ratios for viewing downloaded videos that are online in the wrong Aspect Ratio. YouTube is an excellent
example of a place where videos are often displayed incorrectly and remain that way when downloaded.

PlayerFab lists Default, 1 : 1, 4 : 3, 16 : 9, 16 : 10, 2.21 : 1, 2.35 : 1, 2.39 : 1, 5 : 4, and Fit Window as
its ten selectable Aspect Ratios.

Thank you for letting me know that PlayerFab now works without crashing.
