Thanks for the info. My I ask you a question please, what happens to the original frame rate of the source i.e. 29.97fps or 25fps or a variable framerate, will it be captured as is or convirted to 30fps or 60fps?

That probably depends on the device. I notice that mine always converts interlaced to non-interlaced, which is OK for my purposes. The output is always 30 or 60 fps, but I don't remember if my input is ever 29.97. I'm not fussy enough to notice the details. One problem I did have; for awhile I was using a device between my PVR and a TV, and the PVR and device detected each other as 50fps and used that even though it was wrong for the content.
I hope it doesn't look like we're discussing a competitor. Using an HDMI device and sitting there starting and stopping it every half hour to record a TV series wouldn't be practical. This kind of device is only useful if you need something that Streamfab doesn't support. Like, the only time I've used it in the last year was when a friend was on the local radio news and I had to record from their website.
