Listen. Is possible you have some valid points regarding your concerns. No piece of software is 100% bulletproof so I won't state here that Kigo does not carry its own issues, it does, but at the time being is a great alternative to StreamFab, I'm not pushing it down people's throat as some of you have suggested here, I had good and genuine intentions, if you're looking for a software to do what SF does, well, here's Kigo! Take it or leave it. It's not meant for everybody, just for those who want to try something different. I don't understand why some of you are taking my input so personally. As a first hand user I can attest Kigo is anything but a screen recorder. Your 19% 1 star reviews excuse makes little or no sense, the reviews of Kigo on Trustpilot are vastly positive including a 70% 5 star reviews, 7% 4 star reviews & 4% 3 star reviews. Of course some people are going to be unhappy, however most are happy with what they got. What did you expect? 100% positive reviews? That'd make me nervous and I'd think twice before purchasing something like that. You're concerned because their support is based on a single e-mail address? No forums? No Help-desk? Well, given you avoid buying product off companies that don't meet your criteria, StreamFab has all of that. They checked all the boxes, BUT how's that worked for you there fella? Have your issues been fixed? I once had a problem with Kigo, e-mailed the support team they were very courteous, helpful and competent.

I understand if you don't understand a 19% 1 star rating. I pay far more attention to negative reviews than I do positive as I can tell many of the positive are either coerced or written by the same person with the same broken English and poor command of the language. 90% would not know the difference between a screen recorder and a downloader. Possibly because they never knew any better.
We do.
No one has 100% positive reviews. It is more what the negative reviews say.
SF worked flawlessly the first few years I used it, precisely up until 01-25-24. As
@Chameleon would say I got some of my money's worth out of it. It was not until they lost their lead (and REAL) developer did things go into the toilet. There was no way I could have seen that coming two or more years ago. If you took any time to read the recent posts you'll find all hell broke loose in January of this year.
Yes, SF is now nothing more than a screen recorder, JUST LIKE KIGO, and it specifically states this on their site. Maybe you should read what
@artsunlimited posted above and take it to heart. I will give credit where credit is due. Kigosoft clearly states they do
NOT direct download and
IS a screen recorder. At least they are transparent there where SF is
NOT.
There were only two real contenders in the direct download category and this one is going belly up fast.
You tested and like Kigo. I tested about a dozen other than AS and ALL were screen recorders.
You couldn't have picked a better time to promote a screen recorder on these forums. The very thing many of us are up in arms about. Naive, maybe. Bad timing, absolutely.
