Hey! I can no longer download movies in 1080p from Disney Plus since version 6.1.8.9. Does anyone else have this problem? Has Disney now taken countermeasures here? Thank you!

KidJoeThey constantly have issues with adding and removing things and re-adding. Only explanation to me is they don't know how to properly merge different dev branches to their main one. It's fucking infuriating. Do you know how many times they "Fixed" the episode numbering for Amazon? They break it by using a counter instead of the metadata so if you have the same episodes available on 2 different channels, episode 2 from the second provider becomes episode 4. When i decided i was done with the forum, i reported the issue via the feedback function and Rain had no idea what i was talking about. She asked for screenshots. I sent screenshots, explained again, and told her i was jpp72 and to tell Wilson this has been reported by me many times.She said it would be fixed in the next version and it was but now it is broken again.Every. Fucking. Time.They change something on Amazon and it reverts back to counter instead of metadata.

In my case, there are titles where I can select 1080p options. However, during the download process, after it downloads video, then audio (during the processing phase) it fails processing the audio (see image). Have put in a ticket with StreamFab. Will see where that goes. The only way to get past this error for such titles is to only select a 720p video option from the drop-down list of selectable video formats. Obviously, there are 1080p options, but perhaps DRM prevents processing from completing? Ironically, the DRMCrash subfolder under the Temp folder has a log zip file generated when this error occurs.

There are only a few Disney 1080p movies, older Marvel action, and others. Do not expect to see any new ones in 1080p

What do you mean by updater? Do you mean the pop-up window that prompts you to update to the latest version of StreamFab? If so, yes. However, I've not updated to the latest today. I purchased the extended download, and went back to revisions pre-6183 and after and still no success with it working. In fact, I noted it wasn't until 6183 and after that the 1080p options presented themselves.

Since you are a New Member with only 2 posts you need to learn what everyone else learned a long time ago. NEVER, EVER, use the online updater (AKA the pop-up window that prompts you to update). It absolutely causes problems. StreamFab should have abandoned it years ago. Only use the offline update files. They are easily found at the top of this forum in the "Sticky" section. For Windows, both x86 and x64 versions are there.

Thanks. That's good to know. This time around for 6192 update I did use the offline file to update. (BTW: Still gets error with 6192 build as well. Bummer!)

Considering the inherent problems with the updater, I completely uninstalled StreamFab, this time I also specified to remove the configuration and also deauthorized it. Then I installed it brand-spanking new and authorized it again and NOW it properly detected and downloaded the available Disney+ 1080p video that it had been failing on before. The updater probably corrupted something (likely including my configuration). My previous uninstalling/reinstalling w/o removing the configuration did nothing to resolve. I had to opt to wipe the slate completely clean before it now works with the 6192 build.

Thanks for the guidance. NEVER AGAIN will I trust their updater!

Not everybody has to do it like that...I haven't had to do it like that, I don't do the auto install and do the update after I download it to my hard drive but never had to do a clean install and always installed every update right on top of each other. It works for some but not others and don't understand why some members have issues in upgrading but the problem does seem to lay with hitting okay to automatically upgrade. I know some other members that does it the same way I do without going through with all that red tape of uninstalling everything just to install it back on again. Try it next time to see if it works now that you got rid of the load of that automatic update script.

Currently in version 6.1.9.4, Disney+ is not downloading the series, it gives error code 310. What does this mean? There was no problem yesterday

I recently did a huge upgrade from 6.1.8.7 to 6.1.9.6 and the same thing is happening to me as well. It used to be 1080p, then it disappeared and they re-implemented it in 6.1.8.3 as seen in their changelog and the image that @jpp72 posted, and now it's gone again. Does anyone from the StreamFab team know when the 1080p options on older content from Disney+ will be availible again in a future update?

It looks like its back in 6.1.9.8.... Just downloaded these two... Both are 1080p. While not reflected on Lady and the Tramp in this status screen, it is Atmos too.

Download the offline installer, either from the forum announcement post, or from https://www.dvdfab.cn/download.htm and install over top of your existing install. NOTE some have had issues with using the "update now" button in the app, which is why the offline installer is preferred.
