Support Ticket Update: The response I received from my recent reach out to support.

Weirdly, this actually worked for me. Whether this is a long term solution -only time will tell on that one. But try it guys .. it may work for you also. If not, I suggest hitting support with tickets. The more tickets they get on this issue, perhaps the more it might motivate them to actually work on a proper resolution. Stranger things have happened!

This is the standard response and as you found - it does nothing. You would think with enough people hitting reply and stating that it doesn't work that they would stop sending out this notice.
I'm using a Mac, I can view and use Amazon Music with Firefox, Chrome. There is not edge. There has to be a way to replace the internal browser.
