Netflix with VPN Nordvpn gives me problems

When i want to download something from netflix with VPN Nordvpn it checks the movie or serie, i get the option to download, but when it is on 50% it stops in 1080p quality and goes to 480p and then i get an error,
what can be the solution, i use vpn in usa fastest option and i am in europe with netflix subscription for 4K downloads.
is someone have this problem also or am i the only one?????
when i don't use vpn i have no problems.
i want some movies from netflix usa.

I have often used Netflix with NordVPN and when the analysis was successful
and the download started (no handshake problem), the dl was always successful.

Can you name a affected title and your selection/setting ?

That could be a problem .. because a EU account is normally fixed for your country catalog
(EU roaming right) - so you can dl only NF own productions
That's why I've two nf accounts (in & outside EU)

i download in H264/1080/EAC3, now it goes my downloads from netflix usa, but verry slow in 1.73MB/s speed, last month it goes faster from netflix usa downloads, it takes a 30 a 40 min to been downloaded,last month it was in 10 min done.
for example i took garfield the animation movie, it was in 480p quality and was done in 15 min, a merry scottisch christmas give me problems thursday and friday but done it now in 35 min,
when it din't work i get an error message i must get in touch with the people............ what mostly by problems comes.
i have another 7 movies to do, but with that speed it takes a hole evening i gues.

The Garfield Movie is a Sony - info
so it's without VPN also in 540p (incl. black bars)

Since mid Oct 2023 NF only offers 540p for Sony and Universal Movies, if Widevine
Software Decryption is used. Better quality is only with Hardware Decryption.

I can well imagine that more users are on the move at the moment
because of the X-mas holidays.

I tried Garfield via NordVPN US, NY and it stopped twice at 20-30%
so i switched to SurfShark US, NY and get over 6 MB/s (ready in <2min)

from garfield i know it was from sony so lower quality, the Nordvpn is slow, it just stopt a hour ago, i switched now to Privadovpn and is again a little faster around 6MB/s through Detroit.
but it was faster last month with VPN, when all movies are done from america that i wanted i go again thru my normal way without VPN, then i have 40MB/s and more.
