StreamFab users who download a lot from Amazon know that individual season and episode analysis is essential. Reasons for wanting this could be:You don't necessarily always want the highest bitrate possibleTV Show has some seasons in SD and others in HD or FHDTV Show has different audio codecs for different seasonsDifferent episodes within a season have very different bitrates available. StreamFab will download the highest bitrate if it doesn't find the one you selected from another episode.TV Show has a lot of seasons, making the analysis painfully long @0xFeedBeef came up with 2 ways of modifying the Python scripts for Amazon in order to alleviate these issues. This way for individual seasons and this way for individual episodes.I took his findings and created 2 Windows CMD scripts for people that aren't comfortable manually editing the Python scripts. This will ensure there are no typos that will break the code. Python is extremely finicky about proper indentation. It also speeds up the process of applying the mods after a StreamFab upgrade and speeds up selecting an episode to analyze.InstallationUnzip the file onto your desktop for easy access. It doesn't need to be there if you don't like clutter on your desktop to work.Run StreamFabRight-Click the file named sf_manage_mod.cmd and click Run as administrator Confirm the elevation of privilegesChoose the Install MOD option If you want to uninstall the MOD, choose the Restore out-of-box functionality optionThe script looks for the StreamFab64.exe that is running. That means you can install/remove it from any of the installed version you have.Do yourself a favour and before installing any new version of StreamFab, just rename the folder so that you can decide which version you want to use. UsageOnce you have extracted the MOD to your desktop or any other folder, you should have a folder with 6 files. 4 Python scripts and 2 CMD scripts:sf_manage_mod.cmd is used to install or remove the MODsf_amzn_ep_select.cmd will take the episode number you want to analyze in the current season displayed in StreamFabmod.* files are the pre-modified versions of the python scripts that make the MOD workorig.* files are the original, untouched versions of the python scripts that come with StreamFab Out-of-the-box After installing the MOD as explained in the previous post, you will only ever need to use sf_amzn_ep_select.cmd unless you wish to revert to OOB functionality.As with the other CMD script, we need to run sf_amzn_ep_select.cmd as an administrator because we modify files directly from the StreamFab\script folder. Right-click on sf_amzn_ep_select.cmd and Run as administratorInput the episode number that you want to analyzeClick the Click to analyze button in StreamFabTo analyze another episode from the same season, refresh the page and press enter in the command window.Repeat steps 2 and 3To analyze an episode from a different season or show, select that season or show and press enter in the command window.Repeat steps 2 and 3 Things to consider:For this to work properly, you must disable the Automatic Analysis in the StreamFab settingsYou can (obviously) run the script while StreamFab is runningThe episode you choose to analyze will be moved to the top of the episode list. Easy MOD updated to version 2.11 to add support for StreamFab v6.2.3.0

Apologies for not catching this myself...@0xFeedBeef pointed out to me that the python scripts were updated again in v6.2.3.2.Since I was mainly getting stuff without the promos or more than 25 episodes, the episode selection was still working for me.I have now updated Easy MOD to version 2.20 to add support for StreamFab v6.2.3.2 and newer. Just tried it with v6.2.3.8 and it works properly. If you had installed v2.11 on anything newer than v6.2.3.1, simply re-install the MOD using v2.20, and you're good to go.Zip file is in the link from the initial post. Please post here if you have any issues.

Thanks jpp72 for updating, I know I was one that could not get the older mod(s) to work for some time now. I have yet to try the new one, but have faith when I do it will work fine.

When using version 2.20 it did not parse the loops but when using version 2.11 it parses the loops

MrGrackle so turns out you weren’t imagining it- SF does attempt to analyse all seasons without the node-dp-seasons hack, it just displays the current one with only line 48 mod… I just never watched it analyse (typically hit the + button, do work, come back and deal with selection)

So you’re absolutely right- you do need both!

Just an FYI, I have abandoned this.

We have been asking for the feature of being able to analyze individual episodes since StreamFab v5, and we keep being ignored. Why ask for feature requests if they will be ignored? I was very hopeful for v7 and nada. Still so many outstanding issues from previous versions sit unresolved, so I will simply continue reporting what I see, grin and bare it.

Anyone is free to pick up the slack.

@Wilson.Wang, we need the same analysis on Amazon that we have on Disney+. Just always analyze the last played episode, and it will work!

SF for sure should make a way to do this without needing a mod.
Sad they don’t look into this since it was stated it’s been asked for since V5.

It was also found out for Amazon you only need to mod file if you try episodes 1 to 25.
over 25 you can get SF to analyze manually.
