I can't click the download button on anything in Spotify right now. It's greyed out and hovering on the button says "Please open a song, playlist or album"

I too, am having the exact same issue. The Support Staff said they would relay the issue to the developer. No ETA on a repair (not even next release); nor any indication that it is a "known issue". I asked if anyone else is experiencing this issue in another thread, and got no answer. I'm glad I found your post. At least I found the answer that it's not something on my end. While sad for the community that this is a "Global" issue, finding your post saved me the heartburn of continuing to troubleshoot from my end. I wish the support staff had let me know that this is a "Known Issue". It's good to find out that they are already working on the problem. I guess the only thing we can do now is have patience and wait for the issue to be resolved. In the mean time, Have a wonderful day.
