Live monitoring

Has anyone tried recording social media live streams? I see this software has the capability of that. What I'm wondering is if it can be set to monitoring to automatically start recording when a live video starts, or would I have to manually input the link and it starts recording?
Been trying to find something that can record Live while I'm away from the computer to no avail. This would be my only need for the software as SF covers my other use cases.
