Link detection stopped working today

Same here. Clean installation with the new test version, then analysing is running again, but no download starts.

What I did:

1. I removed everything and did a clean install of the beta
2. I installed the beta in a VM where StreamFab and any other *Fab products have never been installed before.

What I get:
- Link detection works
- Download does not start

I've now tried the trial version on a PC where Streamfab has never been installed, so I don't have to clean it up. I have a Fab365 subscription and an RTL Max family subscription. The error is clearly not mine. I'm still having the same problem. It analyzes, but it doesn't download anything, not even a single episode in the downloader. It freezes, and nothing happens.

then attach your new logs and specify which title it is

and log again, i made one before. but the log file doesn't matter because it's like that with every movie/series.

I can confirm the beta doesn't work for me either.

Win10 up2date - but in the German forum a user with win11 has no problem either

btw: i can't currently test "ein-prinz-im-paradies" because connected to other vpn country ..
.. but my tests are 100% [5 of 5] successfully in 1st attempt.

then i deleted the queue and starts in Player (seeing ad) before add to queue:

now with this it worked since testing it 2 days, after playing video and then another it works now, many thanks to @Germania

After updating to version 6.2.2.8 (via the Update Manager) there was no change. The video is neither recognized nor analyzed.
After updating to version 6.2.2.8 (via reinstallation) the following change occurred. The video is detected but gets stuck in the analysis.
After a complete reinstallation to version StreamFab_x64_6228official_2025_04_03_18_17_36_uti lity_tool_dev_vs2019_streameta_dev_rtl_update_2bfa 17b1, everything works.

After new clean installation analyse is completed but n the download does not start. What can i do?

start a video in streamfab in rtl, then go to the video that you want to download, this helps for me.

ah yeah, that works. But i have to go to a normal bwoser first, copy the link to the video in streamfab and start it. When i start streamfab and open RTL+, i cannot start any video, i stay on the homepage and i cannot go the video page of a series or film. Only when i copy the full link from a browser it is possible but not only within streamfab. Normal behaviour?

I removed everything about StreamFab/DVDFab from the PC and reinstalled
StreamFab_x64_6228official_2025_04_03_18_17_36_utility_tool_dev_vs2019_streameta_dev_rtl_update_2bfa17b1.exe
from scratch.
The I launched the application, authorised myself, logged on to RTL Premium service and went to my desired download.

The link detection worked fine, but the download does not start.

I have never been able to play anything in SF. As soon as I click anything it starts analyzing.
When I turn auto-analysis off the player works, but there is no button to start analysis.
And when I turn clipboard monitoring on, I'm back to old issue that SF says it found something and when I confirm it nothing happens.

And this time it is a fresh installation of the beta in a freshly installed VM which has never seen any other software before.
So there are definitely no remains of anything old and new false settings except the installation default.

It's been the same for me for the last > 1.5 years - but it's obviously no longer the case
(SF will have to push this itself in the future - as with itvx here)

Then try close tab and reopen (or if a serie start a different epi)

I tried it on my main instance and it seems that it is sufficient to run Live TV. ;)
After that I can start any download from RTL.
Great that it works at least as a workaround to get the time limited news and magazines until a final version with a permanent fix is released.
