The problem for SF is:

So it looks like for things that SF can download, CWTV have changed the credits screen where instead of just playing the title, the title gets squeezed into a smaller window and a countdown timer starts to automatically play the next episode. Of course, SF thinks it's the end of stream at this point and cuts off the last minutes of the episode. So, for example, instead of the pilot episode of the Eveleth Hour lasting just over 1 hour and 11 minutes, SF just downloads 1 hour and about 8.5 minutes...

I am not sure what the issue is with CWTV. Either streamfab doesn't care, or they have no idea how to fix it.

You still get the small, almost useless, download window, which this topic contains numerous screenshots of.

So before you try to download, you don't know if it will or won't contain srt/CC, nor what resolution you will get, although in the downloading window, you can see what resolution.
Evidently, there is some crazy trick needed to get srt/CC as the movie did not download with any srt remuxed.
I think it was said to change to external srt, but for the download window, that choice is NOT there.
Now for the movie, I seemed to get close to the full length movie, unlike what 0xFeedBeef says for an episode of a show.
So if that's still there, it only affects episodes of shows.

A special thanks goes out to justwatch.com for helping to find other (free) streamers that have the same movies.
As for some of the shows, it's not so easy.

I would rather have no comments be made to this post, just pointing out the issue, yet again.

So, some limited progress: can add all episodes of Sherlock & Daughter and Wild Cards to the queue with 6238, but download itself fails...

With all SF releases I get Failed (S&D) and then selection dialog open again

I found the (HLS) m3u8 URL for new content - but it's protected like mpd

I'll try it again with manual DL for comparison ..

Don't need to do that, just pick a handful of random episodes and see if the stated track length on the website (in the play window) roughly matches the stated container duration of the download ;)

Or try a known previously bad episode like the first episode of 11th Hour (Resurrection) where the premature termination is very noticeable
