Watermark on Starz?

I subscribed Starz on Amazon a couple of years ago. I dropped it after I discovered they watermarked their movies and shows. I want it back but can anyone tell me if they're still doing watermarks?

I have no personal experience with any added pay service from Amazon. When I first saw it talked about, I thought, no way.
I guess, in the end, why should the streaming be different from when watching on cable TV?
Although some services may not, according to the post >here< Starz does. [Post was made just back on 04-04-2025, so assuming it's still in effect.]

Things might change in the near future, possibly. As of today, Starz has split from Lionsgate. Starz gets to run the streamer the way they want to now. Perhaps the watermarks will disappear now.

I just happened to download 12 full shows from the Amazon Starz channel this week. Old shows like Spartacus and Magic City have the watermark appear at intervals while newer shows like Minx, BMF and Power do not have the logo at all

The whole reason I began to hate regular TV was that it started with a watermark, which then became more opaque, then it became more animated, then they added the little slide screens that occupy a full third of the screen. And they thought they would be cute with them too, such as a character from a different show walks onto the bottom of the screen, does a little dance number, then walks the rest of the way across the screen. Ridiculous!
I wanted to grab The Swarm from CW but noticed the damn channel logo.

If they want me to cancel their channels, just start doing this crap. Everyone does it? Cancel them all!
