As the topic states, Am I wasting my time Force Analyzing individual TV show episodes on Peacock?
I have noticed in my extensive testing that whether I force analyze or not, the downloaded file sizes are pretty much identical on every TV episode I download. (A 45 min show is usually around 2.26 to 2.5 Gb per episode and seems consistent, with each season, the individual episodes typically all being the same size)
And the audio bitrate also seems unaffected as well.
The only reason I can think at this point is for forced subtitles, which to this date I have yet to find an example of a show that has them. Of course if the latest season, episode 1 of a given show does not have forced subs, you would never see them in any other downloads unless you force analyzed.

Yes, you are wasting your time, as are a lot of other folks around here. My personal way of dealing with TV shows on Peacock and elsewhere is the following... Download an episode at 1080p (or 720p if it is the only HD resolution available) using whatever video codec you feel like using. Set your audio codec to whatever you want, at whatever bitrate allows you to hear what's going on. Sit down on your couch with a beverage and a snack and watch the episode. When done, delete the episode. TV episodes and most movies are not the Mona Lisa. They do not need to be saved for your entire lifetime and handed down to your kids. Odds are that as soon as you are in the box, your kids are going to pull the plugs on your NASes and say goodbye to all your 30-40 year old TV episodes that you never quite got around to watching.

From this, it seems you may be wasting your time.

I don't usually bother with even trying to individually analyze, for sure, I don't, if it's a TV show. Most downloads of TV get 720p for me anyway. I may have watched the TV shows 2 or max 3 times. 720p is very good, even on a 1080p TV, and saves HD space and time downloading.

You can surely keep trying, maybe you will have luck, I forget what provider it was, I managed to do it individually just to see if it could be done.

It can take a lot of work and trial and error.

If I remember right, the only way I got it to happen was to have streamfab start to play the specific episode, then try to analyze.
But at the same time, not all providers hold true to the manual analyze option setting.
