Masterminds - no option for forced subtitles

Trying to download the movie Masterminds on Paramount+. The download completes however the forced subtitles are missing (see time mark 0:41:13). There is no option in the download dialog to select forced subtitles. The standard subtitle track contains the translations along with everything else, however there should be a separate track for only the forced.

In my opinion the subtitle handling for Paramount is not optimal and does not always work correctly / consistently.
Even if there are forced subtitles, they are not displayed in the subtitle selection.

For example:
Star Trek Discovery s1e1

I select the german subtitle and i get only the forced subtitle srt file. This is OK for me!

For Star Trek Discovery s5e9

I select the german subtitle i get all spoken dialogs in the srt subtitle file.

If i watch the episode in my browser or on my firecube only the forced subtitles are displayed.

Streamfab should offer an option for Paramount to choose forced subtitles if they are available.

I can only agree with you - but in Chrome I only have one choice:

To actually only get forced you have to use m3u8:

Open DevTools in your Browser (F12), click on Network and filter: vtt
Now play (or reload) your episode, so you should see a vtt_init.m4v URL at the left.

Copy this url (rightclick) paste in editor (notepad)
and replace the part: cenc_precon_dash/ ...
with: fp_precon_hls/master.m3u8

I guess the ultimate question is... Is there a way to get StreamFab to download from Paramount+ (and the others) in M3U8 rather than Dash? Ideally, I'd like to see SF show N_m3u8DL-RE-like displays similar to what you post and allow the users to make their choices that way. Not everyone around here would fully comprehend this more technical method, so it might be best to offer both regular and advanced setting options.
