amazon will download a couple tracks then get stuck in analyzing then everything fails

Similar here, endless analysing, no download from Amazon musicEdit: downloading of one of my personal playlists was succesful. But albums are endless analysing...

As above -apart from opening a ticket. Past experience has shown me that's an absolutely complete waste of time - unless you like being given the runaround with pointless meaningless troubleshooting, which you would have done any way before raising a ticket!

Iasked for refund within the 14-day return period after purchasing the license for MusicFab because the Amazon music and Youtube music services do not work.I'm curious to see if that works.

It won't, apart from getting your money back. I can only speak in regards to both Amazon Music & YouTube Music, as I purchased both licenses - but both of these modules have never worked properly for any decent length of time since their inception. The technical support offered is garbage, and I speak from direct experience of trying that avenue a few times. Count yourself most fortunate if you are in a position to get your money back.

Sooner or later, it fails .. as recently experienced with the latest update. Technical "support" is a misnomer and any "fix" takes (usually) ages on average, although there have been exceptions to this rule.

I have now received an answer to my request for a refund. I should download the latest version and describe the errors that occurred in more detail. I already did that with two separate tickets, which have now been closed for reasons I can't fathom. My request for a refund was not answered. I have therefore asked for a refund again.Nevertheless, I wanted to give musicfab at least another chance. After downloading the latest version, amazon music also works partially. I was able to download two music albums. The download of an own playlist broke off from the eighth track in the analysis.With Youtube music, the download arrow is only gray and there is no analysis of the titles, so no download possible.

Might or might not help; but download the Amazon Music desktop app; install, and let it auto load on windows start, login. Reboot system. Then try MusicFab again for Amazon music.

If you are within your 14-day money-back guarantee -they CANNOT refuse you a refund!

Whatever module is now working.

If you are genuinely within this time period you need to push them hard to honour their money-back guarantee.

Alas my friend, I already made that suggestion #13 (previous page). Which seems to have been either overlooked or ignored! :rolleyes:

"If you are still experiencing major issues I would advise doing a 'clean' uninstall using uninstall software like Revo Uninstaller Pro and then following up with CCleaner Professional after the removal of MusicFab, to make sure (all) remnants of the previous installation has been removed off your system. Rebooting your pc and then reinstalling using the 'offline' installer of MusicFab."

Also, again, on Windows 11; the quick fix for my copy getting stuck on analyzing seems to be launching the Amazon Music desktop app, being logged in, and leaving it running in system tray. This was only way I could get my downloads to restart today. There is also a component that can launch at startup, but I disabled that yesterday just to see if any impact today. If you can imagine "tunneling" the desktop app "seems" to bless the IP connection, then starting MusicFab will get things going again. This worked, whether anecdotal or coincidental, but this also got me restarted 2 days ago (I am downloading HD versions of all the CDs I already own, but in 24/96 where available, so it's a *lot" pending in my queue.

Just a thought to those who run into the stall out issue. Worth a try :)

The refund was again refused, although I had complained within the refund period and had actually taken into account all tips on the wording. Disappointing that it doesn't work properly on my desktop computer with Windows 11.
After the 14-day period I installed MusicFab on an older notebook with Windows 10. There the download works with both amazon music and youtube music. Maybe the provider of MusicFab will manage to create a version for W11 that will run for me by the end of W10 in October 2025.
