6240+ almost there...

Seems 4k content parsing seemingly had been quietly snuck in since 6240 for most titles, however, with Underdogs, while SF display 4k bitrates, SF only registers episodes as 1080p and downloads 1080p

ok, something really really weird is going on- last week 4k was downloading absolutely fine, this week both 6240 and 6241 tag 4k bitrates as 1080p and download 1080p...

Does this mean 1080p h265 is working again? Or is it a patchwork of titles?
With a default setting of h265 before, we were stuck with hang ups when you click on a title and the program reporting 1080p is not available.

it seems intermittent- couldn't get 4k of the latest Nine Perfect Strangers when I posted it, tried it the following day, worked fine, but clicking on random stuff like the Rookie or 9-1-1 gave H.264s... So it seems currently it's a case of try, try again...

Contemplating finding another free email service and trying a new account to see if I can get h265 again like Jpp.. I apparently have an outlook dot com account but I can't seem to get it to receive email, it's like it's a send only service. I can log in to the webmail interface and send emails, but a simple thing like hitting reply to said email to my primary email yields a delivery error.

If you have a gmail account, you can just add a random dot or add a plus sign and some extra text. Hulu will probably think it's a different address.

For example, if you have an address mrgrackle@gmail.com, you can try to register as mr.grackle@gmail.com or mrgrackle+hulu@gmail.com and emails sent to any of these 2 addresses will be delivered to mrgrackle@gmail.com

I just had a random thought, @Wilson.Wang, I think it's Hulu's injection of adverts that messes up the parsing: I noticed that whenever Hulu is analysing a season, and an ad starts playing, you get an H.264 "result"...

Still related to the new manifest... no h265 on most plans, therefore no 4K.
However, I did notice the same thing, ads seem to start up just before a download options window starts, thus effectively breaking the process (maybe). Even on an ad-free plan, they usually have an intro.
