Apple TV+ Downloader 1080p

Hi everyone,

I posted this on the subreddit and was directed to repost it here.

I am using StreamFab for Windows version 6.2.4.6. I am in the US

I am trying to download The Buccaneers in 1080p. I have the first 3 episodes and episode 8 of the first season. I'm having trouble accessing Episodes 4 through 7, as well as any content in Season 2 in 1080p. It all downloads at 480p. I have downloaded all the released episodes. However, I'm unable to get it in 1080p.

Are you experiencing similar issues with other shows or this one? Has someone found a workaround?

I have noticed others have said that switching to H.265 and adjusting the settings can help, but I'm not having any luck with that. I have also noticed that others have mentioned that adding Apple TV to Amazon Prime provides access to most shows in 1080p. However, I am trying not to add Apple TV to Prime, as I already have an Apple TV.

Is there a workaround someone has found? Will this be fixed in an update? It appears that this issue has been ongoing for approximately 10 to 12 months.

The only workaround is to use AppleTV+ Channel at Amazon

I can only say shows how much even I am sleeping as per this forum at full.
Although I more want to blame it on the fact I don't use AppleTV. Nor now do I have any desire to get it.
I was not aware it was that long. I let those who know and have AppleTV answer, unless I have time to point them to a post.

Sad it's been that long and can't get 1080p. But we know from other providers they restrict as they feel fit, like Netflix and their certain 540/480p movies.

I know most people react as though it's streamfab and yes streamfab has their issues, but it's to their benefit if they could get higher resolutions it would happen at some point.

This probably means the period since H265 and AAC >32k is possible ..
.. but before that it didn't work for years - just for clarification the info from before:

I totally gave up on the AppleTV module, and switched to downloading from Amazon with AppleTV "subscription", as "it just works." Sure, I now have two AppleTV+ accounts, technically, but my main one comes with my big bundle and cloud backup for my company. The add-on for Amazon is cheap enough to get shows in 1080p.
