Nord VPN and Accessing StreamFab Servers issue

Has anyone else experienced issues connecting and authorizing software through NordVPN? I just did a new clean install and I can't get the software to authorize or connect while my VPN is on. It just fails to connect to the server. The software behaves the same when I allow stream fab to split tunnel as well. If I bypass the authorization screens I get a popup saying I have cracked and pirated software/ (which I downloaded from the current pined form tab).
If the cracked popup is closed the entire software closes. I don't want to run the software without a vpn so any help is appreciated.

I am running windows 11 pro 64bit , NordVPN version 7.44.4.0, StreamFab 6.2.4.7

I can't say anything about "authorizing" with VPN ..
.. but connecting SF servers and dl works for me with SurfShark and NordVPN

It's nomal if SF server is not reachable - see also here

Are there any specific NordVPN settings that I am somehow missing? I can't even connect to the form when the VPN is active.

Are you talking about split tunneling (not only StreamFab64.exe also QCef.exe) or VPN for complete Win ?
Which protocol do you use? NordLynx, OpenVPN ? - Customized DNS active?

I would rather not split tunnel as I want StreamFab to run through the VPN and not by pass it. I have NordVPN Protocol set to auto and the custom dns is off.

I use it equally almost daily in various countries
and have never had any problems connecting to the SF server.
And as far as I know, the SF team itself also uses NordVPN for testing.

But as already mentioned, I never used SF authorization via VPN ..
.. and without VPN, there were only three in two years
(one of which was for testing purposes only)

I have been using Nord since that's what was recommended in the forum by the dev posts. I can authentic without it. However as soon as it launch the software with Nord active again the software thinks I have never authenticated it and acts the exact same as the clean install.

I can only say that I have never experienced this.

For a moment, I suspected that the MAC address could
change with OpenVPN (via TAP adapter) unlike NordLynx ..
.. However, manually switching to OpenVPN in the NordVPN app
does not affect SF Authorizing for me, and my physical
MAC address is still listed in the log.

So I have no idea what could be causing your problem.

If I were you, I would try a different VPN provider
(trial) to narrow down the problem.
