Allow adding more than one resolution copy of a Title from the same streaming service to the download queue at one time. Currently when you add a title to the download queue for streaming service, so if you want to download 1080p and 4K, you must download 4K, then go back in and add the 1080p to download queue and then download it.
Current State: To download Iron Man from Disney+ in both 4K and 1080p, or Imax Enhanced and Standard, I have to search D+ for Iron Man, let it analyze, add the 4K to the download queue, download it, then go back into D+, search for Iron Man, let SF analyze, add the 1080p to be downloaded and download it.
Use case: I use Plex to playback my disc rips and SF downloads. When I am out of the house and stream on my phone, I like the 1080p copy. When I’m home I like the 4K. Yes, Plex can transcode as well as tone map if the 4K has HDR or DV, but I’d rather stream the native 1080p copy on my phone instead. The way StreamFab works today only add a movie/title once to the SF download queue, so when I download with StreamFab I download the 4K, I then have to go back and download the 1080p.
Suggested Future state: When adding a title to the queue, SF includes the selected resolution for the download, and allows the user to add another copy of that same title from that same streaming service, with a different selected resolution. This way, when the user selects “start download” and walks away, when the download queue is completed, the user has both resolutions they selected.
This could also be helpful when downloading both HDR10 and DV copies of a title from services like Fandango at Home that don’t offer DoVi Profile 8 (DV with HDR10 fall back) files.
