For US visa, I use recharge.com (requires a subsequent registration of the virtual card you receive through giftcards.com, you can buy through giftcards.com but they require a US address, whereas recharge.com does not). If you have a fake US address on Amazon US, you can set that as the delivery address and get a virtual visa from amazon... I really didn't like that US Unlocked charged 99c even for the active card check that merchants (like Amazon) do.

There are a few places to buy cards online but they don't accept my Canadian CC.

I do have a fake address i got from StatesCard. I don't use them anymore but i still use their address. It's in Delaware so i save on taxes too lol

I got a visa from recharge and used it on HBO in the US earlier today, worked once I activated it on giftcards (helps if you read the actual email you get from recharge :p)

I used to have an Argentinian HBO Max account but when SF wasn't able to get 1080p, i let it lapse... It cost me $US 29.99 for a full year!! I wonder if that's still the case... I had to jump through crazy hoops to be able to pay for it

sounds like the trick people do with netflix- get Turkish giftcards and subscribe "in" Turkey... never tried though

So i just bought a 100USD card from recharge.com but unfortunately, it doesn't work for Hulu

I was able to add it to my Amazon wallet

did you register it on giftcards with a US zip code, oh, and if you use nordvpn, not all end points work for payments, I had some issues even using fandango giftcards with some, but LA one worked fine

Ya i registered it but i think it's because of the type of card.

Although i have a NordVPN sub, i know about the issues with VPN so instead, i used a residential IP address from the US. I said it before and i'll say it again, if you want true residential IP adresses from all over the world, you need a DPN. Best tech purchase i have done in a while after my Viture Glasses.

I wish i got the gigabit one but the 500 megabit is fast enough for StreamFab...

interesting, so hulu refused to add it but made it sounds like it's the card issuer's fault... I added it fine to fandago. I did a bin check on the card, and it says it's a prepaid debit card...

Ya it's happened before with other cards. But i have had this account for 3 years and i have used several different cards. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. It has always worked when i had the physical card.

I don't want to go back to the states cause i don't want to give them money with all the trade stuff Trump is doing but maybe i'll ask my flight attendant friend to just buy me a physical card

the trick it to hook the 99c/month with a valid credit card, then switch it to giftcard payment... but yup, hulu is doing something weird- I have a mastercard giftcard which comes back as a mastercard *credit* BIN of Chase Manhattan (courtesy of Amazon/US) but hulu still won't accept it...

Incidentally, Peacock happily eats my UK-issued visa card, so they probably don't so any BIN checks so long as you're on a US IP

So I cracked why Hulu doesn't like the virtual gift cards- they try to set up continuing authority, and it being a gift card, that "feature" is simply disabled on them (literally)

Yes sir. Honestly it's one of the best tech purchases i have made in a while. And this is coming from someone who is a tech freak. I have every single version of Raspberry Pi, every itteration of the Samsung Watch, and I have the Viture One, Viture Pro XR, the Viture Pro Luma and will buy the Viture Beast when it comes out in December.

Not only have i NEVER had the "Looks like you're using a VPN" message, i am able to activate cards that say they can only be activated in the US.

Oh and of course i use it for all my other services such as Channel 4, Netflix South Korea, Netflix Japan, ITVx, 9Now.au, and was even able to download stuff from an obscure site in israel

yup, so I got the gig version since as they were on daily prime deal at amazon.com...

I'm just going through smartdnsproxy atm, and downloading from netflix/us is a tarpit- going at 3.3MBps when I have a 2.5Gbps sync fibre line... it's killing me :mad:
