VLC media player does not play StreamFab downloads

Has anyone else experienced this? It used to be able to, but now I only get audio, no video. Downloading the files and encoding in H.264, MP4. Doesn't matter which streaming service I download from. The downloaded files will play in PlayerFab and Microsoft media player.

try MKV and see if your videos will play.

No, I have never seen that. I thought maybe you had video track set to disable, but when I load another movie, it resets to display Track 1.

Maybe try uninstalling the VLC player, going to the VLC website, and installing it again?

Part of my problem with doing many tests is that I use MKV and AV1 for Netflix, but I just downloaded a movie in h264 and it played.
(I just happened to choose Netflix.)

Hope you figure it out.

I also just found in Preferences, Video Settings, you should have Enable video checked.

This is why I say maybe uninstall, then reinstall, which may reset all settings.

VLC working for me except on this business workstation I get the "atmos audio won't play because..." blah blah. No speakers attached :)
