PlayerFab 7.0.5.2 - Paramount Discs stuck prior to entering Menu Mode

After I have prepared a UHD encrypted disk with MakeMKV, when I try to open the disk with PlayerFab 7.0.5.2, a screen opens (page 1 of the screen is attached) telling me that this is an Ultra HD Blu-ray disk and I need the appropriate equipment for optimal viewing. The next screens cycle through in different languages, then freezes on the last page and prevents PlayerFab from displaying the opening menus of the disk. The Top Menu and Pop Menu do not respond and the screen freezes on the last warning page from the disc. I can play the disc if I use Simple Mode, but I cannot use the menus anytime during play back.

I have had this problem with UHD copies from Paramount: The Naked Gun (UPC 191329255070), Sunset Boulevard (UPC 843501044339). Prior to this, I had no problem opening Paramount discs. No other distributor seems to be a problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi. I’m using version 7055. I also face this issue with Paramount disc images e.g. Vanilla Sky 4k.

The disc is expected to bring you to a simple language menu, and then after selection (e.g. English) brings you to the top menu.

PlayerFab instead goes blank and the video pauses - if you try to skip past the video, you get the screens MrSparkle provided.

Many software players fail like this, but PowerDVD 22 works as well as of course hardware bluray players.

Please investigate the Paramount disc structures causing this issue.
