No something been screwy with the youtube downloader for weeks now. What i have observed hasnt changed. This isnt new as of yesterday, i downloaded 10 videos last night but they were all older than 3 days: No mewer videos would go past analysis.1) Downloads reset at approx 5 AM PST and caps out at about 100. At 5 AM everything about 24-48 hours old suddenly downloads. Older videos can sometimes download after this but nothing new will.2)Older.videoa are atill able to be downloaded. It appears that new videos cant be downloaded until somewhere between 24-48 hours after posting 3) cap is not tied to either streamfab account nor youtube account. Nor IP address.

No it was not "always like this" you could easily download videos posted minutes ago until a couple of weeks ago.

The author must have come up with this a year ago .... and it was no different two years ago either (sample)

The only downloader not working for me is YT - I was able to get english subs on CR yesterday and every vid on IQIYI was 1080

FYI - JD2 began working again just over 24 hours ago.

Yeah, JD2 released an update on 10-25.

yt-dlp released an update on 10-22. If people want to try, many don't use it as it requires command-line use.
I actually got to like it, as the commands give you many options.
Most YT downloaders are based around yt-dlp.

There are also extensions for YT downloading available for Firefox.
Google Chrome won't allow them in the Google extension store, but there are unofficial extensions that require manual installation into Chrome.

Those who use streamfab it's been recommended to have a secondary or even another backup to download from YT.
Or wait and see when the next update comes (usually Thursday or sometimes Fridays) for streamfab.

wrong not every video on iqiyi is 1080p some are 240p like three on these

also been trying crunchyroll picking english subtitles when the video is done nothing at all no subtitles

@Wilson.Wang is it ever so possible to have yt-dlp as a separate local file that is user replaceable for cases like this? 6260 came out and the YT engine was not updated, so it is still broken.
