updated to the new version. been trying to do english subtitles but its still not working hope it will be fixed soon thanks

the subtitles are not encrypted on cr.

open a browser where you’re logged in on cr website
select the language in which you want to grab the subtitle in the web player of any episode
press f12 to open developer console
switch to the network tab
enter in the filter field “.ass”
play and episode or reload the tab if you were already
you should see the subtitle/s of your desired language
right click on it and there should be something like “save as” option available.

kongou Does this solution still work? Because no matter how hard I try, even in incognito mode, “.ass” doesn’t show up in the filter.

Just tried it with 7.0.1.9. I cannot tell if it is still an issue, as I only get the forced subs for quite some time now. Yes, I never reportet it.
If it cannot/is not going to be fixed, I would actually prefer the current state, as I can only download the full subs manually. I didn’t see how I could get the forced subs by hand. So if SF downloads the forced and I donwload the full subs by hand, it would be annoying, but better than before.

Follow the steps to get the complted ass subtitles:

Play the video and open the Dev Tool
Select the playback audio Japanese.

If you select the playback audio English, the ass subtitle is same as StreamFab downloaded.

Filter "Playback” and choose "play“
Find subtitles from the Preview tab
Copy the sutitle url and open it in the Browser new tab.

Anyway, the problem will be fixed in the new version 7027.

Wilson.Wang OK, I’ve downloaded both seasons of Vinland Saga (48 episodes in total). I checked all the subtitles one by one and they’re complete. I also verified them with Aegisub. Everything works perfectly with this version. Thanks a lot.
