YouTube Downloader Just Endless Aanalyzing

Apologies if this issue has been previously covered, I'm not a regular visitor to the forum so may have missed it.

I can no longer download any title from YouTube with the latest version 6.2.6.0.. YouTube Downloader just endlessly cycles through analyzing and does nothing else.

I've tried both being and not being signed in to my account; same result - endless analyzing!

I have raised a ticket but have zero confidence I will get anything other than the usual copy & paste runaround "suggestions" that seem to given for [every issue] a ticket is created for!!

Is this known [ongoing] or does anyone have any suggestions that may resolve said issue?

Yes it is known (example here), the problem was fixed with yt-dlp 2025-10-22,
but unfortunately it was not integrated into the current SF version

Your log contains the same errors as I have listed after 6260 release here

If you use current yt-dlp the dl works fine:

Yes, endless analyzing. I'm having same problem. Years ago I was told to delete everything DVDFAB from my computer and then download the software program from DVDFAB. Have not tried it yet.

I only [ever] download the software directly from the DVDFab extended download link service I paid for. So the software only comes from DVDFab itself [and] most importantly, I only [ever] install using the offline installer. It's clear from the invaluable input and advice from the guys on here that this current issue is down to a "tweak" yet to be done to SF's YouTube Downloader module. And as @october262 has kindly suggested, the next version [should] resolve it. Fingers [and everything else] crossed.
