Unable to download Revolution ep 1-4 on Roku Channel Howdy!

Like the subject says I can’t download episodes 1-4 of Revolution. https://therokuchannel.roku.com/details/12fd1b9d63d55227b6ff30c40d55f31d/revolution-s1-e1-pilot
I did download the rest fine. the only difference is that I watched episodes 1-4 on the Roku channel before downloading. It just sticks analyzing if I start playing Episode 1, If I start with episode 5 I get the Season/Episode selector and that’s how I got the other episodes. However, If I start with 5, then select episodes 1-4 in the selector window. It will analyze then fail. Happens every time.

This started a few versions back, but persists through the current version of 6.2.6.1 for windows. Windows 11, log attached.

If it started in past versions, can’t expect new versions to fix it, as streamfab may or may not be aware.
Might be better off contacting feedback via Member Center
I am sure too you must have tried to delete streamfab cache, even if it does 5 and over.

Howdy is a pay add-on, does Roku do it for shows just available from Roku?
If not, maybe it’s because of going through Howdy?

I stopped using Roku because of slow downloads, but it seems they may have fixed in 6261.
I may try later with something just Roku.

Looks like not only for Roku exclusive titles ..
example: Dumb and Dumber is not exclusive

btw: Because Revolution require Subscription I can’t test

Eventually I just had to give up on this. The show is no longer on Howdy. I’ll have to hope to get ep 1-4 somewhere else later. Here is the final chapter of it. It only happened in browsers. Because it worked on the TV I didn’t think to check to see if it worked on my browser. It didn’t. 3 different computers, none of them would play back an episode I had marked as watched. I had started S01E05 On the TV and originally it had also failed, but I hit play from beginning to start the analysis and that made that one work. No luck with that on 1-4 though doing it that way though. Seems to be a Roku issue with browsers and episodes marked watch locking them at the account level.

I was thinking soon I might blow $3+ to try a month of Howdy.

But not sure now, if what you braydin72 say is true, although most likely I would not watch Or make sure to not watch if I want to download.

The Roku channel site is not even loading in browser, for me, lol.
Will try, maybe another day.

Howdy is a well valued price add-on to Roku Channel. I dropped Discovery+ because it seemed to have lots of crap I don’t watch.
Howdy has a pretty extensive Lionsgate catalog, among other things. It’s a sub-channel just like any other on Prime Video. It should therefore work the same way.
