Asus BW-16D1HT not supported for downgrade yet?

According to the website, this particular model has been tested for the firmware to be downgraded to work compatibly with DVDFab UHD Copy or UHD Ripper. But unfortunately, the message reads “The selected drive is not supported for downgrade yet.”

Any advice is much appreciated.

Upgraded new WIN/11 machine to v13.0.5.1 and Create/DVD fails to burn Verbatim DVD+R DL disks on new ASUS BW-16DIX-U external drive. Module finds the disk at beginning of Conversion step, but goes dead during Write step. FAB eventually times out with an “OPPS….” message and another coaster bites the dust!!! Tried all the usual stuff (i.e. reboot, switched drive off/on, played a test movie, etc),,, but each Create failed to properly burn (coaster, coaster, coaster, etc).

Successfully performed same task on older Win/10 machine running v13.0.5.0 w/ASUS WH-16NS-30 (internal) and same media.

You’d think for the price you pay for these products that the quality control of their updates might be better!!!
