Hello everybody,
yesterday, after a long time, I ripped the new Superman 4K to the “Mobile 4K HDR (10bit)” settings to *.mp4 and set the audio to AAC 5.1 channels, 384kbps.
Now I have the problem, that most of my devices aren’t able to play back the video via their standard media players.
With the standard Windows 11 media player, I get the message, that the used coding settings are not supported. On my Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, I also get the message in the gallery app, that the file type is not supported. The only device supporting the file, is my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
In the past I had no issues playing those files. Nevertheless, I now have to use the VLC Player on my Windows devices and my tablet.
Have you changed the used codecs with an update in the past?
Sorry, if this problem was discussed in earlier threads. I couldn’t find anything.
Best regards and thanks in advance for any information.
