Apple+ Downloads won't complete. 6.2.6.2; Win11

Starting with version 6.2.6.1, Apple+ downloads won’t complete most of the time. The progress bar climbs (slowly) towards 100%, but around 98% to 99%, it stops moving and eventually times out and restarts the download at 0% again. Occasionally, a show will complete and move on to the next one, but some shows just absolutely won’t finish after many (10+) attempts.

Have tried deleting Log & Temp folders, restarting, and today, installed 6.2.6.2, but the problem remains. Also tried installing on a separate machine, and I have the same problem there.

Doesn’t seem to matter which Apple+ shows I try, but here’s some of the more stubborn culprits:

Loot S03E02
The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy S01E01 {Or any other episode}
Platonic S01E01 {or any other episode}
Slow Horses S05E05

All of these play fine on my regular browsers and even within the StreamFab Browser.

I am NOT using any VPN.

Any suggestions?

This happen only if your download is incomplete - because:
[Critical]: [default] "QtDownloadTask::onError : errorString :Error transferring

This never happen for me - so it’s an connection problem and not an SF issue

Thank you for the response!

Based upon your statement that it must be a “connection problem,” I connected my computer to a different ISP (phone hotspot), and lo and behold, the downloads finished correctly.

So now I don’t know what to do about this issue–using the phone hotspot isn’t a viable longterm solution.

Try to change your ip (router reconnect?) and/or DNS server (info)
In case of doubt try a vpn server near your location

Wow, just tried running through ExpressVPN (on my original ISP connection), and not only does everything finish correctly, but they download super fast! …way better than Apple+ ever used to work for me.

Thanks again for the nudge in the right direction–VPN is totally a workable solution for me. But I am curious what the cause of the problem might’ve been… does Apple throttle certain IP addresses or ranges? …or does my ISP?
