What is the normal behavior of SF when using Prime Video?
I do have the Season Mod so am looking at just the current season of a show, not all umpteen seasons.
When I click the episode number on the Continue Watching panel, that specific episode begins to play and SF begins analyzing.
When the download window pops up though, it always selects episode 1.
Is it analyzing the episode I want, but just automatically selecting episode 1?

It’s picking out the first episode in the array of episodes, so if you want to analyse a specific episode you have to move it to the 1st position in the array

When I tried the Easy Mod a couple of SF versions ago, no matter what Season I am currently on, it would always save it as S01. Yes, the episode would be selected correctly, but how it saved was not.

Back to my original post, I am using the Season Mod, not the Easy Mod.

I of course want individual analysis primarily for [Forced] Subtitles or even audio issues. The settings to Always download forced subs, does nothing.

I can’t say recently about the Amazon mod here on the forum.
Maybe someone else can.

Last I tried the mod, it only does episodes 1 to 25. 26 on up I needed to open my Chrome browser to Amazon then load episode 26 and start it playing, copy the link from my Chrome browser to SF and it would analyze 26. Had tested only one or two times as it was too much if you need to do 26 on up as shows can have over 100 episodes.
For me, it was not worth it for TV shows. Whatever SF gets for the first episode was fine for doing 100 episodes.

Maybe others have different results, plus Amazon keeps changing and yet another change was recently made and SF made changes too so it might be the mod don’t work at all. I am sure someone else may know more.

Copy pasts links for episodes 1 to 25 only gets episode 1. Again, this was testing I did and was done back in October.
Most testing was done without the mod, and again with mod 26 on up won’t work.

I may follow this as well to see what others have found since.

There are only two practical reasons why I initially wanted to tinker with episode order: a show where a pilot was SD and the rest of the season in HD, and just to have the latest episodes at the top of the current shows instead of having to scroll all the way down… I don’t see a practical benefit of analysing every single episode, SF should pick the correct tracks based on your initial criteria, if it doesn’t, the best solution is to have SF fixed, not to painstakingly analyse every single episode… 🤷‍♂️

Most times I never really bothered at all.
What SF got for E1 was fine, but I see the issue as you stated, and you encounter a show where a pilot was SD and the rest of the season in HD.

YES, no one should really need to do each episode, but I know some asked why the mod did not do 26 or over, maybe they were just curious, but it is possible without mod for ep 26 on up as I said by copy and paste, just for example, ep 26 link from Chrome browser into SF, and it will analyze ep 26 the same for ep 26 on up, if needed.

I suppose technically you can get it to work by playing an episode then hacking the scripts to lie to SF that a season is actually a movie… and SF may pick up the correct episode from the continue watching button, but I never had the need to try that out…

Maybe that should be a stand-alone post (instead of a btw-mention) so it gets picked up as a bug?.. In any event, aren’t forced subs just a subset of subs anyway, and don’t ttml have a special attribute for forced in the regular ttml, like “tts:forcedDisplay”?

Hey can you look at the season code again? It now looks at all the seasons. Also, the first code to change is now line 35 instead, they inserted something there, but the 2nd line is 43 still.
Only reason I just went to 6262 is because 6261 stopped working just now on AMZ.

OK so I modded line 48, and it still enumerates all seasons. I had also asked publicly if I still got to mod the other lines as well. Testing that now.

Either try reloading the Amazon page in Streamfab or if that does not work close then open streamfab.
The one line change worked for me. What also happens to me is once changed, I forget to save the file.

I have the original lines modded (35 and 43) and added the new code to line 48. So apparently the code mod to line 48 is in addition to the original mod.

Any way, when I clicked the continue watching button (Play Sx EPx, something unexpected happened.

Only the current season was analyzed and the download window popped up with the specific episode that was on the continue watching button.

And today, changing absolutely nothing, it’s back to preselecting episode 1 again of the current season analyzed.
Wonder what is up with that!
