I’ve had starlink for almost 2 years now and the speeds I get with Streamfab are not great compared to what Starlink gives me (with latency under 40).
I have two streamfab accounts: one that I use to access my US Amazon (via vpn) and with that one Streamfab usually gives me speeds of 2 to 14 Mb/s. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything beyond 14. (Speedtests: 80 to 200 latency 40 max).
My Canada account (no vpn) to access Amazon Prime ca, well that’s a different story. Could be because I’m far from the main Starlink router when I use Canada (toronto), so I put in an access point connected via ethernet to the Starlink Router. I still get decent Speedtest results: never 200 like the other connection, but a respectable 65 Mb/s down with latency less than 40. Still, Streamfab will stay in kb/s for at least 1-2 minutes, and then it stops (freezes) for about 2 min, comes back, increases to 1 or 2 Mb/s, freezes for 2 min, comes back, etc, and may, on rare occasions, hit 5-6 Mb/s down. The freezing bit I even saw in my logs when I investigated a while back, but I got too busy to do anything about it.
