6263 and 1080p Support

Has anyone successfully gotten 1080p from Tubi yet?
I just tried a classic TV show that had 480p before (but is 1080 on AMZ) and it offered 720p, which is an upgrade.
I know in the past several people have tried Looney Tunes and got 720p, so I tried one just to see. Looks like no change.
And I just tried several random new title movies from the home page and all are still limited to 720p.
I can at least confirm that h265 is being offered on some stuff now. But nothing I have tried is 1080.

same here, whatever I pick, I get 720p…. but that might be tubi itself (ngl, 720p on a 55″ TV is kinda hilariously nostalgic (due to the little finger-wide pixels), but no wonder tubi’s reach is so bad)…

Congrats Germania, lol, on finding something in 1080.
I would expect a movie or TV show made in the last 10 years to be 1080, but have found nothing. Hell, if it was a movie made in the last 40 years even.
Is it a SF problem or not, I dunno.
I don’t exactly know how to read the base manifest to know. But literally the entire home page (sampled at random) is 720.

It does not seem Tubi offers a lot of 1080.
I always thought that too was a browser thing but did test Stranger’s Child and yeah 1080p.

The audio selector on and old show will also say eac3 but the final download has aac. It’s fine, I’m not set on any specific codec.
Reminds me of other providers actually. Aac is 2.0. Eac3 is 5.1 typically..
I will certainly take the upgrade from 480p. 1080 might not even be offered. Hard telling not knowing.
