ripper does not start

i just use dvdfab for ripping blu rays to .mkv. since the last two versions dvdfab wont start to rip the blu ray. it recognises the movie, it shows all titles, but when i get dvdfab to start ripping it is doing nothing. no framerate, no time expanded etc…. just nothing. does anyone has a solution or the same problem?
latest mac version on an M1 apple silicon.

with version 13.0.4.5 it works as usual! this was the version i saved last.

i had the problem with the latest v13.0.5.1 with blu rays. but i had the same problem with ripping dvd`s with v13.0.4.8!

now i reinstalled v13.0.4.7 and it works again!

should i reinstall v13.0.5.1 and try again to send you the logfiles or are all the logfiles still in the reinstalled version v13.0.4.7?

freakthemighty Hi philipp, if you didn’t delete the log files before, they should remain there. Please try to submit them via the Feedback in the DVDFab Hamburger Menu. We will check the log file first. Thank you.

same problem still with version 13054 for macs with m processors.

I’m having the same issue since updating to 13.0.5.6. Reinstalled and still crashes when I click on Ripper. Using
Edition Windows 11 Home
Version 25H2
Installed on ‎08/‎11/‎2025
OS build 26200.7840
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.291.0

Device name ***********-Desktop
Processor AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor (3.60 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB

Please try below:

Uninstall the software completely from your system

Delete remaining files from the following locations:
Documents folder: Delete any folders related to the software
AppData folder: Press Win + R, type %appdata% and delete relevant software folders
Also check %localappdata% for any remaining files

Restart your computer to clear any cached files and system memory

Download a fresh installation package from the official website
Right-click the installer and select “Run as administrator”
After installation, also run the program as administrator

This should resolve the issue with the Ripper feature crashing when clicked.

Having the same issue on a Mac Mini M4. It recognizes the Blu Ray disc but gets stuck at 0% Processing.

Does this work for Mac M1? I can’t rip a blu ray at all. It will recognize the disc and then go to process and done in less of a second. Should I delete and reinstall the program?
