The new stream fab does not download properly. I left my reason on FACEBOOK. Alex Carter the New Stream Fab does not download. There is an error. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE WITH A NEW UPDATE!

What challenges or issues have you encountered?
My main problems, since March, have been the lack of hardware accelerated encoding on 4k bluray discs for my new AMD Radeon 9070XT graphics card. Even with bluray discs, the GPU usage is very low (<10% in most cases). I have had to resort to using DVDFab to first copy the disc then use other software to do the encoding. Prior to this new GPU, I was using an nvidia RTX3080 and 4k discs would rip and encode in approx. 40 minutes. Now it’s a 40-50 minute copy, then another 40 minutes to encode with the other software.

Which features would you like to see added or improved?
One feature I’ve found nice from one of the other utilities I’ve had to use is the ability to choose the ‘thumbnail’ for the output file. At present, the software picks one and that’s it.

Do you have suggestions for interface design or performance?
Other than my concerns with AMD GPU compatibility, I’ve not had any problems using the software, and find the performance more than acceptable.

Any other feedback or suggestions you’d like to share?
Honestly, from me, no. I’ve been using your software for years and it’s only with the change of GPU that I’ve run into any problems. I have been able to rip 99% of my discs without problems over the course of more than a decade.

DVDFab 13.0.5.4 fails to detect my writable media when I try to copy an iso file to blank disc. My hardware consists of Mac MIni computer with M1 chip, OS Tahoe 26.2, Pioneer BDR-XDS07S external player and Optical Quantum BD-R blank disc. I’ve tried multiple fixes that haven’t worked (full disk permissions in security, reset to default settings etc.) Any suggestions? I’ve read online that the Pioneer external drives have had issues with DVDFab compatiblility.

like many residents in France and Europe, I use DVDFAB a lot to access Blu-ray UHD After Editor. And it is currently impossible to make it work with 3D Blu-rays.
So I’m impatiently waiting for the update so that 3D blu-rays are compatible with blu-ray uhd after editor.

1. What challenges or issues have you encountered?
I’m a longtime user of Cyberlink Power-Director(PD) software, on an old Win7 PC, but recently upgrade to Win-11 PC and wanted something new for Blu-ray creation/burning. I was immediately impressed with your company’s slick, efficient website, which gave me a feeling of confidence that you guys know what you’re doing on many levels. So I downloaded the trial 13.0.5.4 software of DVDFab on Jan 21st, 2026.

DVDFab Blu-ray Creator:
The first thing I need is a customizable menu to add my own background image, and my own mp3 song. Your software has that feature but it is buggy. I liked the simplicity of the interface and was ready to compromise because of the ‘SPEED’ of rendering, showing the CPU/GPU stats in real time, etc. Soon, I had used up the 3 free burns which successfully included a custom background image. I purchased both the Blu-ray Creator, and DVD-Creator software, which came to over $130.00 Canadian.

Cyberlink PD allowed me to save an edited/rendered video compilation to both ISO, and then Burn the disc(in one pass). In your software, I have to render the whole compilation twice because it’s one or the other. I discovered that I need to purchase DVD-Fab Copy- module to take my existing ISO file and Burn it to the Blu-ray disc. I used the free-trial of that but unfortunately, the Copy module burned the Blu-ray ‘without-my Customized Menu’!? The chapter settings worked, but with no menu, they are useless ‘coasters’. I tried it again, same result. BTW, I still have my old Nero Burning ROM software, on my old Win-7 PC, and that took the exact same ISO file, and burned it correctly(with my custom menu working). Ok, so I won’t buy the DVDFab’s Copy module.

I burned another few Blu-ray’s, playing with the different advanced settings. I was disappointed that the list of prebuilt menu templates didn’t include a theme for football or sports. Therefore, I’m almost 100% of the time going to use the custom background option. Next bug…if I save my custom template, and pick it in the next burn, it keeps the original stock image default background, no matter how many times I click on it?! I had some success at first, but I was still tweaking my source videos.

Then I encountered this bad symptom 3 times now…I put it into my Blu-ray player and nothing happens… just a black screen… doesn’t boot up to a menu, or play at all?! So, I start searching the DVDFab, Blu-ray Creator forum, and I’m having the same problem as the one titled… “Blu Ray Creator Discs not working in Blu Ray player IF editing Template”.

BTW, I’m using a brand new Blu-ray external player/burner from Buffalo(Model BRXL-16U3), and a brand new version of Nero Burning ROM 2026. I tried playing these 3 discs in both my Blu-ray players, from Sony and Panasonic, with the same bad result. So after reading that guys post, I waste one more blu-ray and just use one of the stock templates, with no sound-track, just to test it before creating this blog… it works but doesn’t have my Custom-template.

DVDFab DVD-Creator:
so far it’s always included the Menu, with a custom-image background. However, why can’t add a sound-track to the DVD-menu?

2. Which features would you like to see added or improved?
FIX the bugs and add these features…
a) Menu-creation expanded to allow both video Title-menus, and Chapter-submenus underneath.
b) Allow Chapter menus to be Named, and displayed in either text-only, or thumbnail.
c) Function for a ‘simulation’ of final menu/submenus to pretest button links works before rendering ISO or burning.
d) Allow ability to render compilation as ISO followed by burning the disc in same process.

Note: We don’t need DVDFab to become a bloated AI-product. We just need it to be the most rock solid, bug-free, trustworthy, disc-ripping tool.

The UHD Creator has added the Customize Set option button, you can change the display mode of the previous, back, and next buttons to Icon or text.
Highlight Design Change to Draw a box, draw a underline, or change text color.
Scene Page Display change to single file or a certain number of chapters.
Color, change for the box around the chapter.
and
Number of items on the list view page.
Now with the Blu-ray Creator there is no Customize set button, I was so happy when I found out you were going to make it possible to customize the menus just to find out it is only for UHD, you don’t even have it on the DVD Creator, but I don’t work with that much DVD.
Can you add a menu editor on Blu-ray Creator like there is on UHD Creator.
it would be nice.

Lately I’ve been having trouble burning a 50GB blu-ray, probably with the transition to the second layer. The disc gets stuck at that point on the copy. This way I can only burn it on the third try. I’m pretty unhappy about it. I’m using a BD50 Verbatim 6x speed, but I have the burning set to the lowest speed. ISO from the original created in DVDFab. Win 11, Asus BW-16D1HT, v3.00. I have no idea where the problem is.

Just wanted to update this for people who are reading this forum and don’t know the back story of my problem with Blu-ray Creator…scroll up and read my long post on Feb 9th.

The custom-menu feature did work a couple of times, but only booted up in my newer Panasonic DMP-UB300 player. However, none of the burnt discs will bootup to the menu, or play at all, in my Sony BDP-S3700 player. I burnt the same ISO to disc for my brother in-law. He took it home, and only after ejecting & reinserting multiple times, on his Sony Blu-ray player, did it finally boot up to the menu. So the playback problem is definitely related to Sony-and probably other players.

Also, in 2 of my 6 burn-fails, I put the disc in my newer Panasonic DMP-UB300 Player… it did boot up to show my custom image, and started playing the custom song track. However, it was completely missing the Play, Scenes, and Setup buttons?! Conclusion: the only way I can create a proper ISO, that boots up and plays on both my players, is if I use one of your stock menus.

Here’s the reason I posted the screenshots above, is to show that “The Fleeting Meteor” is obviously NOT a proper sport’s theme for Canadian Football theme. I wanted to add that we don’t need DVD-Fab to supply us with an endless amount of themed templates. We just need the Custom menu creation to be bullet-proof.

I’m told in my trouble ticket, they’ve found the root cause problem.

Since this morning’s update my AI Enlarger will not work. I continue to get an error message about the AI data update having a problem. Have done hundreds of videos without issue until this morning’s update. Has brought my work to a stop. Can I go back to DVDFab 13 before the update?
