AppleTV Purchases Download?

HI, folks
thought I’d try using the AppleTV VIP module finally, and looks like I can download the original content in 4K now, so woo hoo. Trying that out vs using AMZ/1080p.

Q: is it possible to see “library” to capture purchases? With the interface, the ‘go to tv’ menu top left causes an error, and no other option scrolling down on the interface to see purchases. Doing search for a purchased title does not work either.

When I click on the go to tv top left of interface I get error:
Failed to load URL ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9NM4T8B9JQZ1 with error ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME (-302).

I am guessing this is intended to load a AppleTV “app” for Windows vs the web interface used by SF.

Not a huge issue, just asking since first time use of the VIP module directly in latest Nov 22 SF.

It’s not possible, because it’s not possible in Browser without App

You can use moviesanywhere_com and link apple with amazon or fandangoathome. Not everything will transfer.

Generally for Movies purchased from Apple, if its MoviesAnywhere eligible movie (Sony Pictures Entertainment
Universal Pictures (including DreamWorks and Illumination Entertainment, The Walt Disney Studios including Disney, Pixar, Twentieth Century Studios, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, Warner Bros. Entertainment) its best to link your Apple account with MoviesAnywhere and download from Amazon or Fandango At Home (formerly Vudu).

Of course TV series from any studio, or movies from Studios like Paramount, Lionsgate, etc. that don’t participate in MoviesAnywhere, can not be downloaded this way.

Hi, already got my purchases in 1080p from Amazon earlier this year. All my accounts are linked via Moviesanywhere. However, can’t get 4K via Amazon. Hence my trying out the new VIP Apple update for 4K downloads.

I downloaded bunch of stuff from Fandango at Home (VUDU), but unfortunately, a lot of my older purchases are gen1 bluray at 1080p; only later stuff was 4k bluray, so I did snag those. My Apple account has stuff in 4k that cannot be had in 4k anyplace else from my actual library or purchases. My interest in having the local 4K copies is for a Zidoo UHD8000 box. But really, I can just watch on my AppleTV-4K box as long as Apple keeps the videos up.

Apple is actually very cool in that some stuff I bought as 1080p bluray, they now only offer to stream in 4K versions, as kind of a free upgrade. Fandango doesn’t do that, sadly, only offering HDX versions of my bluray purchases that Apple offers me in 4K. (First world problems!).
