Invalid Subtitle Download in VIX+

When downloading a movie or series from the VIX+ module using the “Extract Original Format” subtitle option, the subtitles are not downloaded correctly.

Instead of a valid subtitle file, the software downloads what appears to be an MP4 segment inside a .VTT file. (Content: ftypiso5 iso5dash 0moov)

The original subtitle format should be .XML, according to the format used on their website.

The subtitles download correctly when using the “Extract to SRT File” option.

I’ve attached the log file.

Nope it’s not offered as xml - only in mp4

“Extract Original Format” doesn’t work with many providers ..
..as I already wrote about Pluto (here)

SF has had problems forever with: mimeType=“application/mp4” codecs=“wvtt”'

Not from the MPD itself, but you can get it in XML (and other formats) from the request:

https://nxs.mp.lura.live/v1/play/<ID>

Then you can convert them with Subtitle Edit, for example.

But the mpd is the source for original format ..
.. I tried two titles and only es was offered as xml

English was for me only offered as application/x-scc (Scenarist Closed Caption)
SCC file contains a binary representation of the caption data
