🧩 How to Use the Plugin in Calibre

Step 1 — Install the Plugin

In Calibre, go to Preferences → Plugins → Load plugin from file

Calibre seems to be limited to importing only one book at a time … no batch processing. It wants a FILE not a book folder, so one must open each individual book folder and select the .azw file. So, I prefer using BookFab to add and convert multiple books at one time. For me, Calibre is just a convenient organizational tool to store my converted books.

Thanks, but you miss the point. What you’re showing looks like your books are already in Calibre and you’re simply selecting more than one. My point is that one cannot BATCH load books into Calibre. One is still forced to select the .azw file from each individual book folder ONE AT A TIME. If you can batch extract the .azw file from each book folder of 20 amazon book folders in your library, let me know. I’d love to do that.
