Just to chime in here, since 4K downloading was added as an option in Fandango At Home/Vudu, I’ve been going through all my Vudu/Fandango At Home 4K purchases in alphabetical order, and downloading the 4K copy as backup. Because SF’s 4K downloads in FaH/Vudu are either HDR10 or DV, I’ve been just downloading the HDR10 copies (since I have 1 TV that doesn’t support DV, I haven’t decided yet if I’ll also download the DV copy and combine them.)
I have been successful downloading over 150 so far.
That said, I have a list of a 34 so far where I purchased/own 4K, but SF’s selection box only shows up to 1080p, and does not give H265, or HDR/DV options. I’ve added them to a List in FaH. I have yet to post a SF log, I was going to wait until they are the only ones I have to download, and I try them again. This has been an issue since 4K was added so I assumed its just “growing pains” for Fab yet. It persists in to SF v7.
Example titles include Madagascar, Last Action Hero, Ghostbusters Afterlife, First Man, Fury, In the Line of Fire, The Fugitive, Frozen just to name a few.
In addition, there are some titles available in 4K, which I had only purchased the HDX version. For those, obviously I can only successfully download at 1080p, even though the selection box has the option for 4K.
