Error downloading movie "Die Rosenschlacht"

I tried downloading movie “Die Rosenschlacht” without success, download stops at app. 50% with error code 10099.

I did a clean install of Streamfab, deleted the log folder, started Streamfab, selected the movie and started the download.

Therefore, I would assume that your hard drive has errors (free space is enough)

Run chkdsk to repair a Windows 11 hard drive

As expected, no problem for me

No errors found, additionally I can download other movies just fine (Amazon and Disney+) so I’ld consider it pretty unlikely that Stramfab tries to write this specific movie to bad parts of my hard drive all the time and always writes to good parts for other movies.

If you have any other ideas, I’m happy to try

Very unusual - if exist you can try to delete content in
C:\Users\mailm\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\Temp\outputTemp\Disney+\

Or try a different SF Temp directory
if exist: on a different drive

I tried a different directory on C: without success.
I tried a different drive (D:\SFTemp) without success either, log attached.

Download still fails at app 50%

try changing to AAC audio and see if it still fails to download.

The quoted info from your log is unchanged ..
.. so I don’t know what’s preventing SF from writing.

Then I would guess that a background program is the cause ..
.. in particular, real-time “security tools” like Virus/Adware Scanner

Retried without success with Virus / Adware scanner off - EAC / AAC / Atmos doesn’t matter

Unless there is some kind of debug mode that writes a verbose log which might contain more info… I guess I have to accept that for now. Makes me a bit sad but not the end of the word - there are still so much movies left waiting to be downloaded
