There needs to be some consistency on how the program determines what to analyze when the “Auto Analyze” is turned OFF. I turn off “Auto Analyze” so I have some control what is selected. Here are my observations:
Paramount + - You can drill down to the episode level and select the exact episode you want and it will analyze and select that episode ready to download. NOTE: no “Click to Analyze” selection in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. This would be my preferred standard.
Peacock – When you select a Series, it starts analyzing the series and displays some random episode. Another issue with Peacock is that it will sometimes remember the last series you selected and when you pick a new series it will analyze the previous one you selected. NOTE: no “Click to Analyze” selection in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
Disney+ - “Click to Analyze” button in the lower right corner of the screen. It is activated once you select a specific series. Press the button and it will start to analyze the current series. The result is a random Episode in a random Season. If you make the mistake of selecting an episode, it will play the episode and never analyze and the “Click to Analyze button goes grey.
Netflix - “Click to Analyze” button in the lower right corner of the screen. It is activated once you select a specific series. If you hover over the series and select “Episodes and info” it will take you to a list of Seasons and Episodes and you can select the specific Episode you want to download. Click that episode and then select the “Click to Analyze” button and it the result will be the exact episode you want, ready to download.
Apple TV – No “Click to Analyze” Button. When you select a Series, it starts analyzing the series and displays some random episode.
Amazon - “Click to Analyze” button in the lower right corner of the screen. It is activated once you select a specific series. You can drill down and select a specific Episode to try to analyze and the “Click to Analyze” button will still be active. It will start analyzing and the result is not the Episode you selected but the first Episode of the First Season.
Sorry for the long winded post but it was necessary to show the severe inconsistency of the analyzing process.
