Issues with Fawesome.tv

As of SF 7.0.0.0, StreamFab can no longer download from fawesome.tv . Before that, it would always use the YouTube Plus downloader module. I am seeing an error code of 212 in the log (attached). FawesomeTV is a good site and I hope you can get it working again. Log attached.

I see the same error messages in log as for Voyo Serbia :

So it looks like SF v7 have a problem with some unprotected m3u8 files ..
.. however, SF 6267 + 6262 cannot start the DL either:

Since I can’t change SF’s behavior, all I can do is refer you to yt-dlp:

Thank you for your insight. I was able to grab it with TubeDigger and then convert it with MKVToolNix. I would just like SF to again function like it did before. Man dankt!!

Any Idea when StreamFab will work with Fawesome.tv. I see it has a lot of old horror flix.

Nope, AFAIK only Wilson.Wang (and maybe Staff user) has contact with Dev.

You could make a feature request in the feature request for v7, but don’t hold your breath.
There are many requests for new sites.
yt-dlp may work as shown above in another post but you would need the m3u8 link and some are mpd.
I looked on yt-dlp for fawesome and nothing found. It’s not an official supported site, nor did I find anyone requesting yt-dlp to support fawesome. It does look like a decent site. Since it’s not drm there could be a free downloader that grabs from fawesome. Look also for video downloaders for Firefox as an extension.
Sometype of recording software would probably do it, but many complain about the quality.

Works fine for me with SF releases before 6262
