There have been a few shows that I’ve wanted to get on HBO that have been Discovery+ programs that simply wouldn’t go beyond “Analyzing.” One of them was a missing season of Mysteries of the Abandoned and another is White House Christmas.. I finally picked up a 7-day free trial for Discovery+ and got the Abandoned season, but no matter what I do, I can’t get the White House Christmas shows to download. On HBO, the show gets stuck on season 12, analyzing, and on Discovery+, they reach the queue, but then every download fails. I saw the posts about Discovery+ having failures, but I successfully downloaded another show from there tonight without a problem and also the Abandoned season.
I’ve tried clearing the cache, restarting the computer, making sure I had the latest update of SF (7.0.0.1) and I’m stumped. Does anyone have any ideas? I’ll post a log if needed, but it seems like this happens repeatedly, so I’m not sure what could be causing it. Are some HBO shows just “like this,” where you’ll never get them no matter what?
