Stuck on analyzing video

OS: Windows 11 Pro
Country: Norway
Steps to reproduce: Try downloading a youtube movie using the youtube movies module, the video is stuck on analyzing and the download dialog never shows up.

Should also ad that I use the same account as I boght the movie on, it playes fine in the browser, just doesn’t download, stuck on analyzing.

YouTube movie downloader is very touch and go.
One minute it will work, another it won’t.
I personally don’t know if it’s a YouTube issue or SF issue or both.
Neither your log nor mine, which I always check when having issues on YT movies, there is no error.
You can try clearing temp folder, close SF, wait a minute, then open SF and try again.
Sometimes that works, sometimes not.

My tests are done on movies with ads.

Stan001 That is weird. I have tried that already, but doesn’t hurt to try again. This is the only way I can have the Norwegian dub for Sonic the hedgehog 2 in the correct tempo, as it seems most other places has it sped up by 4%

Got the movie downloader to work.

Close SF.
Take the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3hMX65Khtg copy it.
Open SF, paste it into the SF address window like screenshot, then press enter, and then analyze.

The same should work with Sonic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mW7EXd-14M

If it does not work, then you are somehow blocked.

I was going through storefront then trying to analyze movies.
Direct copy and paste into SF address bar worked 100% of the time for me.

There is no 100% solution that I found that works.
This affects all movies with ads and purchased movies.
Any YT video connected with https://www.youtube.com/feed/storefront can be affected.

This is pretty much the log when it’s not working and stuck at analyzing …

Stan001 I will try that now. I also tried downloading a normal youtube playlist and it kept only downloading the first audio track instead of both english and Norwegian, maybe that’s just a playlist issue, but no idea why. I’ll try the movie now.

I guess the craziest part is SF; if you click on YouTube movies, it takes you to the storefront.
And that’s where the videos are, but if I click on one and try to analyze, it goes into endless analyzing.
I copy the direct link to the video, close the SF window and paste the direct link and click enter, and then it analyzes. 🤷‍♂️
