@"MrGrackle"#p473275 nope, but given that that account had zero physical (shipment) purchases, neither of us had anything to lose Edit: worth noting that another burner account of mine (different locale) is still alive, and both have exact same pattern save for the one that's alive has never had any TV show/movie purchases, the burnt one had some TV shows that weren't available via regular channel subs. That's the only difference between the two (that isn't to say that the alive account won't get nuked, just saying what the difference in patterns is)

Did you use the account that got shut down for anything other than downloading with StreamFab? Like actually watching/streaming from Amazon?

I got the same dreaded email on my burner account today, too. Started it early August (post "fix" release) and have been downloading the max each day with no issue. Never watched/streamed. One rental. Subscribed to a bunch of Black Friday deals that I won't be able to use now. :(

Other speculations.
-Downloads are not being marked as watched on their site. Mentioned above as a json that apparently doesn’t work.
-Downloading 100 hours of content in a 24 hour period – are you an android robot watching said content at 4x speed with no sleep?
-The specific browser used by SF. Can you legitimately use the same browser outside of SF? Every browser on every system has a specific fingerprint.
-Downloading audio separately from video. Afaik no player out there does this.
-The actual speed the data is retrieved. Instead of somewhat real time 1X it’s downloading much much faster.

That last part. I have a China Box set top player (purchased from AMZ) that I use sometimes, it has quirky advanced controls for buffering. I can prefetch pretty much an entire episode of a TV show in a few seconds, then if the internet craps out, it’s playing by buffer memory.

I haven’t used Streamfab for a while, but I have a friend who only uses Streamfab to download his purchases, and he hasn’t received any emails. However, these purchases are more than six months old and are for series with only one season. Maybe it’s a problem when you buy only one season when there are several available, or maybe it’s a problem with recent purchases.

In any case, thank you, 0xFeedBeef, for letting us know that the ban is still in place.

Sebastian001 Everyone here knows this, but we’re talking about Amazon, which before July 2025 was fine, there were no bans, and today some are still banned and others are not, so there must be a trigger.

Sorry to be ‘that guy’ - but I continue to have zero issues with legal account, US, no VPN. So, some folks continue to have no issues. it’s not all a panic, thankfully.
