Amazon download disabled today?

Yesterday I could download fine from Amazon. Today, every movie/show I go to have the “Open a video url” button at the bottom right disabled. Any ideas why?

My account seems fine. I have not downloaded anything today and have 100 downloads available. I tried restarting streamfab, logging in/out from amazon.

Same here but did not try any downloads Jan 1. Notice this issue today.

A Simple reboot solved the issue.

I’m running into the same issue. Also from Criterion (which isn’t “supported,” but reliably produces an MPD download link).

I just tried setting the date on my computer to Dec 29, 2025 to see if it forced a change. It did not. When I set it back to automatically set the time, everything started working again. No clue whether the time change was related or just convenient timing, but it all works as expected now.

Ive tried normal, over VPN. I’ve tried films, television, subscriptions. I’ve tried copying URL to download. no matter what Amazon will not analyze titles. Any help here?

I had a couple of things this way. They both had Continue Watching instead of Play buttons. I went in to my amazon account watch history and deleted the movie from there and SF had no issues the next time I tried to DL that movie. The 2nd one was a show that I was just using to test and find out if the continue watching was the issue. Other movies already worked that didn’t have the Continue button.

No issues downloading a movie right now over here. Could be intermittent issues on their cloud infrastructure due to increased holiday viewing load.

I have not seen the issue myself. It seems random or intermittent.
It for sure could be an Amazon issue or even possibly an SF server issue.
As SF is very dependent now on accessing SF servers.

If this was widespread, this topic would have 5X to 10X the amount of posts.

All seems to work today. Likely a temporary glitch.

It’s firxed for me now, so it was definitely a server-side issue, but I can’t say if it was Amazon or SF: yesterday I couldn’t download from Amazon, left SF open to the Amazon page overnight , today I refreshed the page and it immediately started analysis and gave me the download option. (I didn’t close/reopen SF, didn’t reboot, did nothing - so someone’s server somewhere was the culprit!)

On a side note, I don’t immediately report a problem or post about it when only one provider is acting up - I generally wait a day or two as I don’t want to open problem tickets when many times an issue resolves itself simply by waiting.

This had to be a temporary glitch, not many reports and seems the few who had it, it’s ok now.
