Dear DVDFab Team,
As we look at the 2026 roadmaps for DVDFab, StreamFab, Passkey, PlayerFab, and your other software, I have a major recommendation to improve technical precision and user experience.
My Core Suggestion: Do not add AI features to your regular apps. Keep AI strictly in UniFab.
You have a large family of products, but you are starting to duplicate AI modules across all of them. This causes “app bloat,” larger file sizes, and more potential for crashes. For the 2026 roadmap, please adopt this “Specialized App” strategy:
- UniFab: This should be your ONLY AI-powered application. All video upscaling, face enhancement, colorization, and audio upmixing should live here exclusively.
- StreamFab: Remove the AI clutter. Focus 100% on being the best global downloader. Please prioritize expanding VIP Services for the UK and Australia, specifically:
- UK: BBC iPlayer, My5 (Channel 5), and U (u.co.uk).
- Australia: 7 Plus, 9 Now, and 10 Play.
- DVDFab: Keep this focused on being the gold standard for disc copying and ripping. We don’t need AI enhancers inside the ripper; we need the fastest, most stable disc processing.
- Passkey / PlayerFab / RecordFab: These should remain lightweight and fast, focusing on decryption, playback, and recording without heavy AI modules slowing them down.
The Goal for 2026: A clean ecosystem where each tool does its job perfectly. If I want to download, I use StreamFab. If I want to rip, I use DVDFab. If I want to enhance or use AI, I use UniFab.
By keeping your 8+ apps specialized, you will save engineering time and provide a much more professional experience for your users!
