Amazon Prime video analysis has stopped responding. This issue has been occurring for a few days, and a forum topic was posted about it, but the discussion was closed without permission, stating that there was no problem. This is an ongoing issue, and needs to be brought to the attention of an admin.

Same Problem today. This morning everything was fine but now, even after restart the App or restart the PC, the Amazon Prime video analysis did not start.

I just started having the same problem. Amazon won't start analyzing. I tried Fallout S2E3 The Profligate. Tried restarting SF and rebooting with no success. Using SF 7.0.0.4. Updated to 7.0.0.5 and the problem continued. I'm in the US.

Same here, also US. Won't analyze Brilliant Minds (Peacock subscription), Palm Royale (Apple Subscription), Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage (Paramount Subscription), etc. All TV programs. About two hours ago, I was able to download Predator Badlands (MOVIE).

I'm having the same problem. The analysis won't start. I've tried restarting the app and rebooting my Mac. I'm using SF 7.0.0.4 for Mac. I'm in Japan.

ollir Do any search for and pick any free series. If your layout looks like this it is the old vertical layout. If the episodes are displayed horizontally it is the new layout. I still have the old vertical layout as shown. I have Prime so I have no idea which series are free and which are prime. I just picked one to illustrate. Give me a series you can access and I’ll try that one.

One can find the free shows, which were part of the now defunct freevee, use search : freevee tv
Or moves search : freevee movies.

I subscribe to Peacock through Amazon Prime. This morning NBC shows such as Brilliant Minds only allow me to buy the current episode. Is this a StreamFab issue or an Amazon issue?

I think is Amazon SF issue, doesn’t let me download some videos, please fix
I can download TV Shows but nothing from the movies, it was working in the morning/afternoon, now (evening) its not analyzing/downloading and movies, TV Shows yes, but none from the movies free/paid (which I bought)

All TV Shows are analyzing for me but on the other side all movies brought/free not analyzing (UK)
In the most part of the day everything was working, now (evening) only TV shows are working, movies no.

Same issue here in Austria.
Till yesterday, downloads from Amazon worked fine, as expected. Today, the selected movie starts to play within the StreamFab Window, but no download window is displayed.
I rebooted my PC, started StreamFab again, same result. No download window is presented.
-> Windows 11, StreamFab 7.0.0.5 (x64).
From my point of view, Amazon has changed something last night….
We will have to wait for SF 7.0.0.6 to fix this? 🤔

This is usually a widevine issue as SF widevine is up to date. If you installed as Administrator but opened SF under your normal account your normal account may not have the necessary permissions. If you did install as Admin uninstall and reinstall under your user account and see if this fixes the problem. Maybe this issue would be better served in its own thread as it is not related to the current analysis issue.

I can still download from Amazon US using my US account.
On my Canadian account, my last successful download was at 1 hour ago (3:30pm EST). Amazon’s download button is greyed out. The only thing I did between it working and not working was to rent a film from Amazon Prime Ca, and when I went to download it, no green download button.
I upgraded my Canadian account to 7.0.0.5 but that has not changed anything.
Netflix works fine in both Canada and US.

To add some marshmallows to the fire …
was just able to download (1:30pm PST) a movie from Amazon (AMC+ sub), and my menu in SF, is kinda odd, in that has big slider at top as has been case all last year, then rows of content per usual, then a NEW movie slider element with nested blocks of films, not the vertical thumbs thing we see on AppleTV or elsewhere. Then below the “new” slider element, more rows as per usual. Not sure if this is new third mind-meld of layout, but at least for me right now, was able to download a 1080p film.

Only chiming inf for reference for those actually possibly looking at trends with this.

I can say I haven’t changed a thing and all worked fine last night. Today nothing from amazon will analyze nor do i have an option to analyze. If i click on any video free, purchased, amc, prime, paramount + or mgm all the same nothing will analyze nor do i get the button to click. I am on the newest version 7.0.0.5 but i have since it came out and amazon not analyzing just happened for me today

I’m running SF under the admin-account on Win11.
SF 7.0.0.5 still fails to display the download window as usual.
So there is no permission issue on Windows, in my opion. From my point of view, Amazon has changed something to prevent SF from analyszing dowload paths or something like that…. 🤔

I get this on first try when I play a movie, only first time when I close and reopen SF prime video and try to play a movie, for now every TV shows are working but movies still not. Never before I did not see this msg

I don’t think the analysis issue is related to widevine permissions. Agreed! Amazon seems to be rolling out an update that breaks it. 🤔

The widevine issue is an entirely different creature. If widevine is not installed properly or does not allow adequate permissions it will generate and “incompatible” error on Amazon despite being the latest version of the browser.

My account is also an Admin level account but I do NOT log in as the built in Administrator account. I’ve seen the widevine issue with both Brave (Chrome based) and Chrome when “Run as administrator” is chosen during install. I tested this thoroughly some time back because I ran into the problem.
