I am starting off by selecting Clone disc since they are the same size

ok so what is the procedure to copy a DVD fully to a DVD+R DL Disc? cuz like i said clone isn’t working.

Lazarus Arguelles The regular procedure is: load the source disc to the Copy module (select Clone/Full Disc/Main Movie mode based on your needs), choose your burner as the target, click Start, and insert a writable blank media into the target burner.

For burning a DL disc, we suggest changing the burning speed to（2.4x/4x）, which can improve the compatibility.
You can adjust the write speed in DVDFab Common Settings > Drives > DVD Write / Blu-ray Write.

The burner drives detected are:
Drive J: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N (supports dual-layer DVD+R DL and high max speed 8310)
Drive D: hpHLDS DVDRWGUD1N (also supports dual-layer DVD+R DL but max speed lower ₄₂₃₄)

Errors related to burning include:
“Power Calibration Area Error” repeatedly during burn initialization.
“SetStreaming fail - Invalid Field in CDB” errors.
Failure to send OPC (Optimum Power Calibration) commands at various speeds.
Burn operation ultimately failed.

Common causes of “Power Calibration Area Error” include:
Bad or incompatible media (disc quality issue).
Older or incompatible firmware on the burner.
Drive hardware issues.
Burning speed set too high for the media or drive.
The log shows the burner tries to burn at high speed 8310, then lower speed 3324; both failed.

You may try the following:
Try burning at a lower fixed speed (not auto) that the disc supports, e.g., 4x or 2x.
Clean the optical lens of the burner to ensure no dirt or smudges cause read/write issues.
Test the same media on another burner if available to rule out disc defects.
