I had this same issue last night, but I had found a workaround THAT IS NO LONGER WORKING – so I’m not sure what’s up with this series. Other series/movies are working, but no episodes of THE PITT are working.

(For what it’s worth, this was the workaround that is no longer working today:
disable auto-analysis
On the poster for THE PITT, click the […] option and select MORE INFO
Navigate to SEASON 2
Click the […] option on the poster for season 2 Episode 1, click EPISODE DETAILS
Click the (+ ANALYZE) button

Weirdly it on worked from search yesterday via this multi-step path above, but yesterday it didn’t work from the promo poster on the home page. And today it’s not working at all…)

I was just able to download s01e01 and s02e02 with no issues in both FHD and 4k with DV+HDR10. Didn’t have to resort to movie mode. Perhaps the issue was transient.

I’m still on 7.0.0.5, in the US, and my VPN is turned off.

Another option that worked for me (in the US) was to launch HBO Max in a browser window, start to play the new episode, and copy the URL. StreamFab will use the copied URL to download it.

The episode, however, contains a spot in the middle with about 15 seconds of missing audio. My guess is that’s what might be causing the failure when trying to download the episode directly from the HBO Max tab of StreamFab. That is, I’ve seen other failures in the past that resulted from some sort of error in the file being analyzed.
