Hi Hayetebahadori:
I’m surprised that noone has posted a response to this yet. I have experienced almost the exact same problem that you have had…
Trial of Software
During the initial trial of the software, I was disappointed in their very limited menu-creation options, but I was impressed with the speed of rendering, showing the CPU/GPU stats in real time, etc. Then I was impressed with the company’s slick, fast website, giving you a feeling of confidence that these guys know what they’re doing, and are strong in areas of coding, and disc creation. Soon, I had run out of the 3 free burns. Unfortunately I also realized another downside in that you can’t save an edited video compilation to both ISO, and then Burn the disc. You’re allowed only one of those options. Anyways, the trial gave me just barely enough successful results that I purchased both the Blu-ray, and DVD-Creator software, which came to over $130.00 Canadian.
AFTER purchase:
So, as I said above, you can’t save an edited video compilation to both ISO, and then Burn the disc…it’s one or the other unless you have the DVD-Fab Copy module. Anyways, they give you a free trial of that software which can take an existing ISO file and Burn it to the Blu-ray disc. Unfortunately, I found out 2 times in a row that, the Copy module burns the Blu-ray ‘without-my Customized Menu’ !? By this point I created about 4 completely useless coasters. Anyways, I still have my old Nero Burning ROM software, on an old Win-7 PC, and that takes the exact same ISO file, and burns it correctly(with my custom menu working). Ok, so I won’t buy the DVDFab’s Copy module.
Investigate Problems and reading your post:
I burned another few Blu-ray’s, with about 3 or 4 MP4 files, playing with the different settings but of course, I want to create a custom background image, and MP3 song track. I had some success but still wanted to tweak a few things so try it again. I put it into into my Blu Ray player and nothing happens… just a black screen…No menu nothing, it will not play at all. Then I read your post, so I try to use one of their stock backgrounds, instead of my jpg-image. I left the mp3 in their, and it failed the same. black screen…No menu nothing, it will not play at all.
I’ve since tried using the DVD-Creator software…so far it’s always included the Menu, with a custom-image background. However, it’s very limited in that you can’t add a sound-track. Also, the menu is buggy, just like the Blu-ray creator. I don’t know the history of DVDFab but it looks to me like they have a strong burning engine, and put no quality-control into the Menu creation, which is a show-stopper for me.
Did you create a trouble ticket? get an answer? and/or get a refund?
regards,
Darrell
